their properties.
 Minimization of Boolean functions
using algebraic manipulation and Karnaugh maps.
 Analysis procedure of combinational
circuits.
 Design procedure of combinational
circuits.
 Arithmetic circuits, decoders,
encoders, and multiplexers.
 Construction and properties of
latches and flipflops, their characteristics and excitation tables.
 Analysis of synchronous sequential
circuits.
 Design of synchronous sequential
circuits using state diagram and/or statetransition output table.
 Design
of registers, ripple counters and synchronous counters.
