Course Objectives:

·           To give the student an understanding of the engineering profession and the main engineering problems with their social context.

·           To introduce basic concepts of Computer Engineering.

·           To gain ability to analyze a case and identify the problem and synthesize a solution.

·           Developing skills in moral reasoning and having an understanding of ethical implications of the engineering profession.

·           To introduce the student to the practical concepts of the computers.

·           Providing the students with experience on popular operating systems such as MS Windows and LINUX.
